Hesston United Methodist Church

With “Open Hearts, Open Minds and Open Doors,” Hesston United Methodist Church hopes to relate faith to life, and put faith into action. With a mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world, Hesston United Methodist Church is a diverse group, made up of various denominational backgrounds.
Worship begins at 8:30 a.m. Sundays with the “Spirit of the Flame” service.
This contemporary praise celebration features the Hesston United Methodist Church Praise Team leading the congregation in today’s music of faith. Regular worship begins at 10:30 a.m. on Sundays. Sunday school begins at 9:15 am., with classes for nursery, preschool and kindergarten through high school. Adult classes are also
offered. “Bible Zone” for the young ones, Jr. and Sr. High fellowships, empty nest and adult singles fellowships offer something for congregants of any age.

Whitestone Mennonite Church

Founded in 1885, Whitestone Mennonite Church is proud of its strong Midwestern roots, and is committed to its faithful response to God’s love and the promise made in light of that love.
Sunday School begins at 9 a.m., and is available for ages two through adult. Ages two through grade six study the Jubilee curriculum. The Junior Youth Fellowship — “JYF” is for grades 7 to 8. The Mennonite Youth Fellowship — “MYF” is for high school age youth. Both study a variety of lesson series. The nine adult classes study from the uniform series or from books of their choosing. Once or twice a year, elective classes are offered to the adult classes to encourage intergenerational learning.
Regular Sunday worship begins at 10:15 a.m. during the Summer, and 9:15 and 10:15 during Spring, Fall and Winter. One of Whitestone’s core ministries is Whitestone On Wednesday (WOW), runs September through April. This is an extensive Christian Education program for grades 1-12, based on the Logos program. Children start the evening off with activities such as crafts, woodworking, dinner, and of course, worship.
